Important information that you need to know.
This information can possibly change your life forever. We shall see.
First off, there is a new program coming out in 12 days or so. It is going to knock the socks off the competition and it's going to make a lot of people a lot of money. The good thing about this is that you will be one of the very first people to see it, read it and use it.
Subscribe to these posts now so that you do not miss this important announcement.
You probably already know but if you didn't, I cannot stress the importance of the phrase "Timing is everything". I'm sure that you have heard people say it many times before, and they are right. I have been earning money online for over 4 years now and anytime I do something online, I make sure I'm one of the first people in because I know how important that this is in the scheme of things! It is called "First Mover Advantage".
It is why I'm giving you a heads up so that you can start to prepare yourself for a life-changing event.
Now, this brings me into the second subject that I wanted to talk to you about.
I know that a lot of people do not have a clue about how to market online or offline for that matter, or what they need to do to get going. I get questions concerning marketing all the time.
So, I want to help you get a good jump-start. I have some really helpful books that I want you to review and study since they will help you understand Internet Marketing and how to go about marketing your business it in a way to achieve results. Another book will help you build up positive energy so you can think positively about anything... Even detractors and naysayers. Negheads or Neg'eads if you do not pronounce yer H's...

Take the time to read these. If you want to change your life, you will have to change the things you do and, perhaps, the things that you don't do... And that chance will come in just a few days time. Only you can make it happen but I shall do my best to put you in the best possible position, to be the one with "First Mover Advantage".

Awkard Pupils Stem From Awkward Teachers ~ Discuss!

Hi Malcolm,
I have never been a big fan of institutions.
Most of my school days growing up were a nonstop exercise in institutional boredom.
Today, I hate institutional advertising, institutional thinking and the daily grind that most people find themselves in - cogs in the impersonal machine.
There's a famous poem by Lewis Carroll (author of Alice in Wonderland) called "Jabberwocky" which in my humble opinion, is not about monsters, it's about the battle between the individual and the institution.
Read about my battle with my 8th grade math teacher Mrs. Gould, the joy of imaginary numbers and the slaying of the Jabberwock below:

Beauty, Wonder and Institutional Boredom
By: Perry S. Marshall
Mrs. Gould was my eighth grade math teacher. Mrs. Gould and I did not get along.
She was “Exhibit A” of the stereotypical math teacher; ruthlessly methodical and hopelessly rigid, without the slightest notion about how to inspire the interest and cooperation of her students.
This was pre-algebra, where you had to deal with lots of fractions and very simple equations and solve for “x.” I could do it all in my head.
But that was not good enough for Mrs. Gould. She insisted that I “show my work.” As in, every single step. Otherwise, no credit would be given.
If 3x + 2 = 11, it doesn’t take any “work” to figure out that x =3. I didn’t show my work, I didn’t need to show my work, and I wasn’t going to show my work. Deep down I believed that if I stopped doing it in my head and started doing it her way, it would dumb me down. I might eventually lose the ability to do it in my head at all, and I’d need a piece of paper in order to think. So I just wrote “x=3” on the test.
She always gave me an “F.”
Parents Evening ~ The Showdown...
But then one night my dad went over to the school for parent teacher conferences and met her for the first time.
Mrs. Gould’s comment to me the next day: “Boy, for the father of such a rebellious and mouthy eighth grader, your dad sure was a nice man.”
Dad’s comment to me the next day: “Boy, you ain’t going nowhere, you ain’t watching no TV and you ain’t getting any more allowance until you show your work and fix your grades in Mrs. Gould’s class.”
I then decided that impaired thinking ability and the showing of work on tests was probably better than a life of impoverished isolation. And certainly better than taking eighth grade math all over again next year. So I reluctantly got my act together and decided to try and get along with Mrs. Gould. Fixing the problem required several nights a week in her classroom after school, doing remedial assignments and acknowledging that this woman could actually be a nice person if I tried to be a nice person too.
Lessons Learned ~ But teachers: Don't Get Too Smug...
Twenty years later it seems like this could have been a whole lot easier than it actually was. First of all, she did have a legitimate point. She knew I could do it in my head in eighth grade, but the problems would only get more and more difficult in high school. What she really wanted me to do was learn to explain and justify my thinking process on a piece of paper, not merely use the paper as a crutch.
But what she didn’t do was sell me on the idea of showing my work. Most math teachers get an “F” from me in the category of showing the value of mathematics in general. I’d raise my hand and say, “What will I ever use this for?” and they were either unable or unwilling to tell me. When I asked Mrs. Butler, my pre-Calculus teacher, what exponentials and natural logarithms were for, she said she thought they used them in electrical engineering. And that’s all the answer I ever got.
An Awakening...
I was a senior in High School then and I knew I was going to major in EE, but her answer didn’t make ex any more interesting. But I eventually did find out, and the answer was really fascinating. I found out that e was this “magical” number that made it really easy to describe growth and decay on that hated piece of paper.
If you added imaginary numbers to the equation, it accounted for vibrations, oscillation and music. An equation with those e’s in it could tell you the story of a plucked guitar string or a temperature controller. Learn to push those e’s and i’s around and you’ll be able to build speakers that give you goose bumps and factories that make Coca-Cola.
Some travelers can blithely put one foot in front of the other and be content to not know where the journey is taking them. Some bricklayers can put one brick on top of another without knowing it’s going to be a cathedral. Some chemists can mix chemicals together and not know or care that their formula will nourish hungry infants in a third world country.
But I think most of us do want to know. And we’d rather not find out by accident. We’d prefer that our teachers, our managers and our leaders to be able to show us where we’re going. We don’t want to be corporate drones who dutifully adhere to some plan that’s handed down. We want to be part of a real human vision and turn it into reality.
There’s a play called Jabberwock that’s based on Lewis Carrol’s famous poem, Jabberwocky:
Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird
and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!"
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird
and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!"
In this play, the Jabberwock is the beast that cares only for what you can give to the machine. It’s the institution that has no concern for your individuality and only wants to use you for its pragmatic purposes. It’s the soulless corporation that views people only in terms of what they can contribute to the bottom line.
I don’t have any problem with bottom lines at all. I’ve got mine, my clients have theirs, and you have yours. But while daily production adds to the bottom line, passion and vision multiply it.
Human Madness ~ "The Plank's We Have To Deal With"
Everybody’s got their own Jabberwock to slay. In education it’s the teacher who can show you how to do a procedure but doesn’t feel the need to show you how to use it or why. In engineering it’s the project and budget that’s been rigidly defined before the problem has been clearly understood. In advertising it’s the agency that just writes lazy, uninteresting, ego-stroking fluff about how great your company is, instead of doing their job and digging like a detective to capture the real story behind your new product. In accounting it’s the thousand drones at Anderson Consulting who toil over the columns on the Enron books, but none of them knows how the company actually works or where the cash is actually going.
I did a taped interview with a visionary leader in the Pharmaceutical industry, Tom Hoobyar of Asepco. I asked him, “What advice would you give to the salesman whose company constantly fails to keep their promises to his customers?”
He replied, “When I bent over backwards to help my customers and got screwed by my employer, usually my competitors were eager to hire me. So if your company is an embarrassment to you, kick ‘em in the ass.”
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
He chortled in his joy.
I don’t know who your Jabberwock is, but if you’re waking up every morning with a monkey on your back, it might be time to slay him. Not with bitterness and malice, but with resourcefulness, passion and vision. The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
He chortled in his joy.
If you don’t know the big picture, then get up from your desk, take a walk and find out. The person who knows might be bothered when you ask… but then again, he might be elated to find out he’s not the only person in the company who cares!

Your Are A Misfit - Admit It!
One of the maddening things about being an entrepreneur is,
the people around you do NOT necessarily understand your
obsessions.
They're content to watch TV. You're not. They go home and
leave their job at the office. You don't. They talk about sports
scores and the New England Patriots' amazing defeat; you
obsess about response rates and how many orders you got
yesterday on your website.
Today it's Valentines Day and your honey wonders why you
can't just go out to dinner and leave your obsessions behind?
I've got two things to say about this:
1. YOU ARE A MISFIT. You wouldn't be reading this email
right now if you weren't. That's why you can't get into some
boring routine. That's why you spend money and buy courses
and go to seminars and stay up all night and work weekends
and you get fired from perfectly good jobs and you can't stand
the Dilbert cube working under buzzing fluorescent lights.
You can't stand the man's boot on your neck and you'd rather
risk failure and disaster and embarrassment and even
bankruptcy, than submit to that hideous mediocrity that the big
machine wants to grind you into.
You said to yourself: "Self, if we can't fit in in an office, maybe
there's a place for us on the Internet where all the geeks,
freaks and misfits hang out."
And you're online because you're a geek and a freak and a
misfit and I am too and that's why I'm writing this and it's why
you're sitting here reading it while your friends are content to
discuss last night's Law & Order.
And you know what? It's OK.
You're a misfit and it's OK.
2. The Valentine's part of my message today is: Somebody
has to put up with you. Don't feel guilty about that; they get to
share in the rewards, too. Surely they knew they were in for
some of this when they signed up.
But think about it: When you're cutting your teeth as an
entrepreneur, it's often your sweetheart who is putting
the bread on the table and making ends meet. Enduring
your learning curve along with you.
Make sure you give that person the appreciation they're due.
Look 'em in the eye and say it. Oh, and a letter in the mail
wouldn't be a bad idea. Way better than an email, by the way.
Would only take you 15 minutes to express your appreciation to
her / him on a piece of paper and drop it in the mail.
Whadaya think?
A few months ago one of my Roundtable members from the
UK brought his wife with him to the meeting. He'd implemented
new ideas like a banshee and they are RAKING it in.
And his wife is there telling me, "You know, I'm real mum
about this recent success to my friends. They just get jealous.
If I told them how much we're making now they'll think they
deserve a share of it, and meanwhile, be completely
oblivious to all the years we labored hard together in the
trenches, making this thing happen."
And I'm sayin', Amen, sister. Yes, you are who you are
because a lot of other people have contributed to your
success.
Not just glamorous gurus either, but un-glamorous,
un-celebrated people who live with you and love
you and your crazy misfit idiosyncrasies. Husbands
and wives and children and moms and dads and brothers
and sisters, whether in blood or in spirit.
Make sure you thank them today for all they do for you.
To your success,
Malcolm

Matrixes and Spillover
---------------------------------
The Great Spillover Debate
---------------------------------
Spillover: Are you looking for it or creating it?
There is no shortage of opinions when it comes to the idea of making money based on spillover.
Does spillover happen? Absolutely.
Is spillover the way to build fantastic wealth? Hardly.
The plain and simple truth of the matter is:
Spillover happens because SOMEBODY is promoting.
In a simple illustration of a 3x matrix, it looks like this:
Level 1 can hold 3 sales.
Level 2 can hold 9 sales.
Level 3 can hold 27 sales.
Level 4 can hold 81 sales.
And so on....
This sort of plan can and often does lead to spillover whenever there is at least one person that is effectively promoting and referring others.
Let's suppose you join a matrix plan and you are going to be a referring "machine". You see the potential and you know that the only place success comes before work is in the dictionary. You're ready to "rock enroll" and you know that you can help a lot of folks in the process because of the way the matrix plan is set up.
You get your three closest associates or friends or family members on the phone and you tell them what you are doing. They are excited and they join.
You now have 3 people on your first level.
Congratulations! In a program like ours, you are in profit and off to a great start.
http://www.bestaffiliateatm.com/recommends/230,000MembersInOneYear
Next, you contact some more close friends, associates, or family members and you plug them in on Level 2. It takes 9 people to fill Level 2.
You now have a full first level and a full 2nd level. You are making even more money and everyone on your first level is now in profit because you created spillover for them by filling your 2nd level.
Your next task is to fill Level 3.
That will take 27 people. (3 x 9 = 27).
While you are working on filling Level 3, you start to get phone calls from people on Level 2. They want to know where the spillover is. Why aren't you building their downline for them? What's going on?
A couple of the people on Level 1 want to know why their downline is building so slowly. Can't you do something to speed things up? They have to make money so they can make a car payment this week! What are you doing up there, anyway?!?!?
Let's say you really are good at this stuff and you manage to fill your 3rd level with 27 new referrals.
Congratulations! You've done well for yourself. You've created spillover for your first level people and your 2nd level people. But now the 3rd level people want to know where their spillover is and the people on levels 1 and 2 want to know why they aren't making a few thousand dollars yet!
Sound familiar?
I know the builders recognize some of these comments and questions. They get this sort of nonsense every single day.
Here's the thing that amazes me (and I've seen this a LOT over the years):
Someone will get up WAY too early in the morning, to drive WAY too far to a job they absolutely hate. They will spend ALL DAY at that job making FAR too little money. They will then drive home in traffic, complaining about their stupid job, their lame boss, their lousy pay, and how this just isn't what they envisioned for their life.
But when their upline sponsor asks them about spending a few minutes a day promoting their Affiliate URL to help with the team build, they instantly talk about how they don't have time, can't figure out how to log in, don't know where or how to post an ad... "I'm not good with that stuff!", etc...
And then they ask why their downline isn't growing faster.
It's a vicious cycle and I see it repeated throughout the world on a daily basis.
I want to be clear: Matrix plans can help a large number of people because of their design. As sales begin building, the new sales are forced down into the lower levels of the organization and that is called spillover. It does happen and I see people making money as a result.
But rarely do these sorts of people really get in to the big money.
Here is how the big money earners really do it:
They build with a team. They seek out fellow builders and workers and they work together with an attitude and approach to CREATING spillover rather than receiving spillover.
Suddenly, it's no longer about one person being able to refer 30 or 40 people on their own. It becomes about a team pulling together to create a massive group-wide momentum that results in the income levels that we end up reading about with other people.
Consider this:
If you are the kind of person spending an hour in the morning to drive to an 8 hour job and then another hour getting home and still not making the kind of income you desire, consider dedicating yourself to spending just 30 minutes a day and finding others that will do the same to take your life back by building your business.
When I started working online, I had 3 jobs. I ran my own taxi business, I was a director of another taxi business, I have a vibrant MLM business and I was working 60 to 70 hours a week on a regular basis.
THEN, because I absolutely KNEW there was a way to take my life back, I spent my evenings studying, researching, and trying various online methods of building wealth.
There were times when I didn't sleep for 2 days in a row. I was that dedicated to taking my life back and providing a stable life for my family. Bear in mind that I was doing this while married and with five kids! I wasn't a single guy with a few needs. I had a big rent payment, lots of groceries, car payments, and bills that just kept showing up month after month!
I knew that my current jobs were not going to get me there.
I knew that I couldn't just keep adding jobs.
I knew that there had to be a better way.
I knew that I was going to have to work my butt off for a while.
So I did.
I made a ton of mistakes along the way. Some things didn't work out. I maxed out a few credit cards along the way. But I knew the answer was to keep plowing forward. I absolutely
REFUSED to quit.
Today, I'm sitting in my home office writing this article. My commute to work is about 20 seconds. I don't fight traffic unless I'm taking my sons to a basketball game on the other side of town and I don't have to ask permission to take a day or the weekend off!
And the most important part of all (even more important than the fact that I make a LOT more money now) is: I absolutely LOVE what I do!
I want you and others to see that it can be done IF you wrap your mind around the idea of being willing to put solid effort in to CREATING your success.
Someone once told me... EVERY Online opportunity works. And every online opportunity doesn't work. It depends on the person involved and how they approach their business. I have to tell you: I agree 110%.
I want to encourage you to go to your members area and review your downline numbers and ask yourself, "Does RN Work?"
RealityNetworkers is designed to show you the power of working with a team that is committed to working together over time. It is really a step by step system for creating the kind of wealth that most of us hear about, read about, and even dream about, but still haven't reached.
Along the way, you will have folks that refuse to work for one reason or another. I call them "squatters" and they are all over the place. Don't waste your time trying to convince them of anything. Just seek out people that are ready to work together and make things happen. The "Squatters" will get swept up in the process or bail out somewhere down the road.
Over time, you and your team of people that are working together will have created a fantastic income stream. You will be earning more money than ever before, and people will look at you and think, "Yeah, but I could never do that.".
You'll probably do like I do and say, "I agree with you". The real question is 'WILL you?'"...
